Quadrant Building Pty Ltd and each of their respective associated entities (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) from time to time) are committed to protecting your privacy and managing any personal information that we collect and hold about you in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles contained in that Act.

1.1 This privacy policy (“Policy“) explains how we manage your personal information. It relates to the collection, use, disclosure, security of, and access to, personal information you provide via this website. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Policy.

2.1 Personal information includes any information or an opinion that identifies or could reasonably identify an individual. Some examples are your name, email address and phone number. 

2.2 You may visit this website anonymously. However, we give you the opportunity to provide us with some of your personal contact information and any other further information you would like to provide (which we will only use for the purposes described in this Policy) so that we may interact with you, adequately serve you and perform our regular business function. In these circumstances it is not practicable for you to operate under a pseudonym.

4.1 Cookies

(a) If you access our website, we may collect information about your interaction with our website via your IP (internet protocol) address and domain name. They are also used to tailor information, products and services offered and advertised to our customers on this website and elsewhere. Therefore, unless you identify yourself (eg. by entering your details to register your interest in our property development), we will not link any record of your usage of our website to you personally.

4.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track trends and behaviour on our website, so we can ensure to provide more relevant content that you as a visitor wish to view. We use this analysis to improve content and functionality of our website and a better user experience. We also use Google Analytics advertising features including remarketing, demographic and interest reporting. These features help to target our advertising efforts so our messages are being sent to those most likely to engage with them and find them useful. 6.4 Other than the above and as otherwise expressly stated elsewhere in this Policy, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.

6.5 We will not disclose your personal information to a recipient which is located outside Australia.

7. Storage and Security of your personal information

7.1 We store your personal information in different ways, including on paper and in electronic form. We use a range of commercially acceptable physical and electronic security measures to maintain and protect the security of the personal information we hold, and we comply with all applicable privacy laws to ensure your personal information is stored safely to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.  Whilst we take these steps to maintain security of your personal information, you should be aware of the many information security risks that exist today and take appropriate steps to help safeguard your information. 

7.2 If we provide your personal information to our associated entities or other affiliated organisations, we will use our reasonable endeavours to ensure those third parties have adequate policies in place to provide similar protection of your personal data and privacy in accordance with applicable privacy laws. However, we do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of any third parties.

7.3 We will actively review the personal data we hold and delete it securely, or in some cases anonymise it, when there is no longer a legal, business or consumer need for it to be retained.

8.1 This website may contain links to websites owned and operated by third parties (“Linked Sites“). This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of any Linked Site. The Linked Sites are not under our control and as such, you acknowledge and agree that we accept no responsibility for the conduct of the operators of the Linked Sites and/or in respect of any breach of data protection or privacy laws arising out of your interaction with a third party or a Linked Site (whether or not you accessed the Linked Site via a link from our website). Your use of any Linked Sites will be subject to the terms and conditions of use and service contained within each Linked Site. You are responsible for your use and access of Linked Sites and for any information that you provide through such sites

9. Access 

Where required by law, we will, on request, provide you with access to the information we hold about you including for the purpose of correcting or updating that information. We may recover from you our reasonable costs of supplying such access, but will not charge you for lodging the request itself. Access to personal information will be given in the manner requested if it is reasonable to do so. If we refuse to provide you with access to information we hold about you, we will provide you with written reasons for the refusal and inform you of any exceptions relied upon under the Australia Privacy Principles. Your request for access will be dealt within 30 days from the date we receive it.

10. Keeping your personal information up to date

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we hold about you is relevant, accurate, complete, and up-to-date whenever we collect or use it. If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to either correct this information, or if necessary, discuss alternative action with you.

11.1 We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time and any amendments will be effective immediately upon notification on this website. Therefore, we suggest you refer back to this page regularly to review any amendments we may have made to the Policy.
